Hello all, Jon "jontm" Harnish. Avid poker player and now taking care of some player, media and public reporting for the World Poker Showdown and the Canadian Championship Poker.
I want to start spreading the word about some huge forward strides in both the Canadian and Global market.
Recently a rebranding for international events and partnership was struck between the World Poker Showdown and Canadian Poker Tour to bring premium events to players in both exotic locations, and popular destinations. This is one of a series of successful mergers/manuvers brought on by the business savy of Heads Up Entertainment International President and COO Kelly Kellner. This August from the 7th to the 24th a series of events will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. This event will be attractive to all levels of players and is listed on most major tournement/series listings and will count towards POY standings. The event organisers pride themselves on providing an experience that win or lose will satisfy the players need for entertainment. Player parties, the "CPT girls" and the player discounts for both flights through WestJet and discounted accommodations at the Hard Rock.
The 5k Heads Up Canadian Poker Open recently passed and Poker personalities like Phil Hellmuth, Mike Matasow, Layne Flack, Brad Booth competed along with many other TV players, with Huck Seed defending his 2008 title.
Joe Hachem, Jennifer Tilley, Antonioa, Phil Laak are a few more names that have joined us lately at the larger events. There is a good chance many will play the Hard Rock Main Event.
Player forum disscusions are showing alot of enthusiam and the word is spreading fast.
The slower deepstack format is attractive to all, with the events wrapping up in a 4 day Title/Major Event.
Currently shares are trading at an extreme bargin. Anyone who wants further info as to what these companies have accomplished to date, don't hesitate to ask. I am only hoping to introduce those who may not of heard. I am not a broker, just here to help spread the word.

If so, please feel free to provide a link here so we can all check them out! I have been wanting to play in some bigger events and am curious to see what you guys have! =0)
