Taking A Stand

I have been an avid player of Microgaming software and customer at their various affiliates, beginning as early as 2005. During that time until now I have deposited many thousands of dollars at several casino groups and online casino affiliates that use their software. During that time period, many changes have occurred pertaining to gaming play for the U.S. customer. These changes have occurred due to U.S. legislation being passed in an attempt to make some or all online gambling in the United States illegal. However, the legislation that U.S. lawmakers passed is so unclear or non specific, some online casino groups or individual affiliates of several software platforms have decided to continue doing business with their U.S. customers in states that do not have their own laws passed banning online gambling. Microgaming has reacted to these changes in a diminished capacity, changing their own policies only to cover their asses and maximize their profits. They decided to allow U.S. customers who had registered accounts prior to the passing of the "ban" to remain customers who could make real money deposits. However, U.S. players are no longer allowed to participate in their progressive jackpot games that payout millions, and now it seems that new games will not be released to U.S. players. I feel very strongly about promoting fairness in online gambling for the U.S. customer. I intend to write a report compiling alot of data pertaining to online gambling that I hope will serve several purposes. I will use the information to lobby on behalf of the U.S. consumer, both at home and abroad. I can only hope that the casinos I contact will willingly answer the questions I seek answers to for my report.
