All of the sudden your connection returns...and there you are.... AUTOMATICALLY FOLDED! If it has happened to you...you know what I am talking about. It all began when manager Emma wrote me in Skype and offered to co-operate. We began to discuss their LucasPoker.com (Italian poker network) and to speak about that it was Italian poker network, that they were closed and so on. Then we began to speak about conditions. Initial conditions – 30 % Revenue Share, but since we started to co-operate I was offered better conditions and also statistics on players, etc.Everything seemed to be fine before the first payment. They promised to pay in the beginning of month, but made payment only on 11th. Here is how it all happened.I was asked to make deposit from moneybookers to their account on web-site. I did it, and then I asked about my money every day. And they answered EVERY DAY, that they already made transfer. When I got tired I decided to finish with this situation; in any way, I received money after 5 hours of continuous communication. It turned out that money was sent not on moneybookers, as it was reported earlier, but on the pokerroom account. And in order to transfer money the affiliate must make deposit in amount of 20€ from moneybookers.I’ve never seen such crap, and if the affiliate only starts to work and he doesn’t have 20€, what should he do then? They do not pay money. And one more thing: when I made deposit and wrote them about it at least 4 times, I was asked to state my pokerroom login, but I told them my login at least 10 times. There can be only one conclusion: they are complete nonprofessionals who don’t even know their pokerroom, don’t know their soft and settings. But it is not the end: there is no statistics on pokerroom and no possibility to check what % they are to pay me. There is only one figure and it is not the rake, no. It is the sum of Revenu Share, and they can steal profit of the affiliate freely. When I disappointed in their services, in their bad work, and in that nobody knows what to do, I had the impression that their main principle was to sell quickly and to enjoy. But the worst is still to come. I was asked to write about it, but when their manager told me today that they had discussed the problem with authorities and were ready to give me 40%, I was shocked. And after I asked what % I would receive now, they told that it would be 30%. And as you know I would have never agreed to work with them on standard conditions.Thereby it turns out that they initially deceived me by offering better conditions. I guess I am the only affiliate of their web-site, so they didn’t know how to transfer money and marked time for 11 days. Then they conned me and didn’t pay the sum which I even don’t know, because I asked them to show the rake of my players, and they sent me % from Revenu Share. Very bad work.I see trickery, stealing, meanness, dullness in these acts and I am not ready to work with them: neither to play, nor to co-operate. And what about you?P.S.I’m tired of these petty “down-and-out-rooms” which don’t know and understand anything. Thanks God, there are such rooms as Bwin, PokerStars, and Titan, which do their job well, know their business and co-operate honestly.

PASPA Repeal and Affiliates

Many are wondering what will happen with affiliates when PASPA repeal, which seems inevitable after the latest New Jersey supreme court case, ends up happening.

At Price Per Head we believe this will have an overall positive effect. Thought we believe it will be much more gradual and mixed than most people imagine.

We'll start off by going into the fact that once you repeal PASPA, there are 50 different state legislatures that will have to be contended with. Additionally, there are number of industry and sporting actors who want to take a share of the pie.

For example, the leagues want big bucks. But many sportsbooks barely make a living and feel it is the leagues that should be paying them for promoting their product.

Additionally you are going to have dozens of licensing processes and many legal grey areas.

In some areas the repeal of PASPA might actually kill legitimate bookies and create a situation when illegal bookies reign supreme. This could happen if the cost for providing service is too onerous. We already know the tax situation for gambling in the US is terrible, so it is to be seen what happens when the lawmakers come out, hat in hand, now that legalization is on the table again.

Not so long ago, esports was only a form of entertainment and nothing more. It was usual to see two friends or more sitting together and enjoy playing a game. And when the victory came, nothing much could be done. A new decade has dawned, and esports are now more competitive than ever.

Developers like Epic Games and Valve hold tournaments every year. These events are very aggressive as teams try to win the prize pool money. This is a chance for players to showcase their skills and fans to bet and win money. Moreover, brands like Microsoft often sponsor such events.

Many people are taking esports as a profession, and this is too much of a big deal that cannot be ignored. We have come up with some of the biggest esports tournaments set to take place in the summer-autumn season in 2020. Whether you want to follow the gameplay or just looking for a chance to bet and win cash, this list is a must-know for all esports Vulkan fans.

League of Legends World Championship

It is almost 11 years since the League of Legends was released, and it is still dominating the gaming industry. The LoL World Championship will be held in Shanghai, China. Twenty-four teams will be participating in this event all from 14 different countries in the world.

According to Riot Games, League of Legends grabbed the attention of over 100 million viewers in 2019, and this is expected to rise in 2020. Besides, although the League of Legends is a popular game, it only had a prize pool of $2million in 2019. Hopefully, it will be more than that in 2020. The event is set to take place in October-November.

Fortnite World Cup

Epic Games hold their first and successful World Cup for the Fortnite game. Many people were unsure of what the role of the game is in the industry due to its epic character, only for 2019 to make it comprehensible. This event made international news as it attracted many viewers. Additionally, it surpassed other esports like DOTA 2 and Counter-Strike in terms of having the biggest prize pool.

Epic Games have not yet publicized the dates or months in which the tournament will take place, but rumours have it in summer. This year’s World Cup has even higher expectations than that of 2019.

Counter-Strike Global Offensive ESL One Rio

Counter-Strike Global Offensive is another popular as well as the most anticipated esports. The major CS: GO events are held biannually by the game’s developer, Valve Corporation. In 2019, this event had up to 1.2 million viewers as well as prize pool money of $1 million.

The tournament of the year, ESL One Rio Major will be hosted in Rio de Janeiro and will take place in November 2020.

The International

This is the concluding tournament of the DOTA 2 Pro Circuit. It is also the 10th edition to return to Europe ever since 2011. The event was set to be hosted in Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition was postponed.

Players compete for the DOTA circuit points, which determine the teams to go to the International. In 2019, the prize pool for The International amounted to $34 million setting a record for the prize pools of DOTA 2.

EVO Championship Series

The EVO Championship Series is a tournament held for fighting games. This means that instead of one, the series hosts several games. Such esports to be held in 2020 include Dragon Ball FighterZ, Street Fighter V Champion Edition, Soul Calibur VI, Tekken 7, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Samurai Shodown.

The physical event was to be held in Las Vegas from July 31 to August 2. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was postponed. The organizations planned the competition to take place online and run from July 4 to August 2, 2020.

Hearthstone World Championship

In 2019, the Hearthstone Masters tour took place in Las Vegas, Bucharest, and Seoul. The number of locations is set to increase in 2020, which will feature six new places. They will encompass Indonesia, Texas, Asia-Pacific, Canada, Sweden, and Spain.

Blizzard also announced that the Grandmasters, which is the highest level of the event, will be divided into two, one was planned to be set in April and the other in August.

Closing Thoughts

Other esports events to occur in 2020 include CS Summit 6 online, Europe and North America and We Play! Clutch Island. The COVID-19 has led to the delay of many esports events, and this is heartbreaking for both the players and the fans. However, most organizations are holding these occasions online, thus giving everyone a chance to attend it. So if you want, you can still watch the live tournaments as well as bet on your favourite teams on bookies like Vulkan Bet.

Webster's Definition of "Donkey"

This is my first post here. It is not new but one most find funny if not ironic enjoy........"Websters"Definition:DonkeyDonkey:[donk]: noun, to donk v. slang. poor poker player, a player who thinks they are good but no evidence of this assertion can be found. 2. Often found shortstacked, whining or whining in the losers lounge while good players are still in the game - usually blurting unprompted questions or statements like: "play me for cash","play me for real", "freerolls suck/ are waste of time" ,"play me hu" , "I won this or that tournament last week","I play at (enter any famous casino name)","my bankroll is bigger than yours!" , etc., etc. etc.3. Usually in this situation being unable to beat players deemed, by player most often using this term, of lower skill. 4. Not to be confused with making a wrong read, bluffing, late positioned / big/short stack, big blinds, calling a 72 bluff or any other read that may give basis to call with something other than AA - they never like all other human poker players make mistakes. B. Frequently heard to exclaim "you called me with that"! note: this can usually be rebuffed with the reply "You went all in with that!" (see below: the video where Patrik Antonius' Ah 2c all in is called by Doyle Brunson's 3d 3c note: having just made the same play they earlier called out as a "donk play" when made by someone else - they never return the announcement. note: watch their hands carefully as they deftly, skillfully demonstrate how to win playing only 4 pocket pairs AA, KK, AK,QQ on the button! 5. Frequently chats, blogs, writes complaints about "that donk this", "that donk that", "why all the donks" complaints which can be traced back to being taken out time after time after time again by someone they consider a donk - never stopping to ask the question - "If it is they and not I who am a donk why can't I win against them? Is it possible I am the donkey?"5. Sometimes a mindless warning to someone who may be playing badly to stop and play better so they can win - instead of the person who cannot restrain themselves exploiting these weaknesses to win - this person would much rather play at a table with Stu Ungar, Alan Cunningham, Phil Ivey, Chip Jett, Barry Greenstein and Johnny Chan or where all players play perfectly and are therefore better than they, thereby insuring they lose (can't beat bad players / can't beat good players). (note: they frequently are "better" than these people too - no really just ask then check their ranking scores - zero does not mean they are bad)6. Often issued as an alert to the other players of "Hey a player with "lesser skills" is taking all my chips" and a reminder of "I can beat Raymer on any given day and I am making "expert" commentary on how others should play, ignore the fact I am not winning here and now because I am unable to take advantage of my own excellent advice".Appendix inspired by jsc88310 : Frequently the player who "checks you" to the nuts (e.g doesn't know the correct bet to give you incorrect odds to call and/or doesn't have the guts to make the bet and/or thinks it's a limit game), goes all in on the river (with 2nd or 3rd best hand) then screams "donk" ,"chaser" ,"riverrat" on the way to or from the losers lounge for twenty minutes!7. trite, overused, "TVPokerese" for someone who is "English challenged" trying very hard to sound like they "know poker" having not mastered the actual game. Verbal device used to distract from the fact their own play is poor. see also Yakkity, Yakkity, Yak, Blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda .....(did Webster play a lot of online poker or what!)(c)2007 JonHolt / Merlin333
