Hello All !

Glad to be back as a member - I was a member of APCW years ago when I had my first gaming site. After three years of absence; I'm back. In all the years that I have been a participant in the gaming world, I have found that this group of people are kind and genuinely care about those who are involved in this community as well as their own repective associations.It's great to have a place where players and affiliates can come and talk about the issues surrounding the current legal climate in the online gaming industry as well as other concerns. Getting peer feedback and advice is essential to making the best out of what we do.

When I gambled for the first time online in 2005, it was at a Microgaming Casino. Occasionally, I would try other casino software platforms, but never found another that I liked as much as Microgaming. When I was the fortunate winner of a progressive jackpot game called "Wowpot" for $27,000 in early 2006, I really became a loyal fan of Microgaming.When the U.S. enacted legislation that was feared to ban most online gaming, Microgaming decided to turn their backs on U.S. customers. I know this to be true because for the longest time I was under the assumption that my various casino accounts with them were locked. I stopped getting promotional emails, and all forums and casino sites said "NO U.S."!About a year or so later, I found out that most of my casino accounts with them were not locked afterall. I was told that my accounts created before the ban should still be good. Sure enough, that was true. But, after over a year, the thousands of dollars in deposits that I had made at all of them had been forgotten. All the loyalty points I had earned at 18 different casinos had been removed from my accounts.I didn't really understand how they could take back the points I had earned from spending money with them...afterall, I couldn't very well ask for my deposits back too. And although I could still make deposits, I could no longer participate in progressive jackpot games. Being a winner of one previously made it hurt all the worse. I have spent a little over a thousand dollars at various Microgaming casino accounts since August of this year, and I have come to the conclusion that they are no longer practicing any kind of "fairness" in online gaming.If U.S. Players are allowed to spend their money at these Microgaming casinos, yet not allowed to participate in progressives like everyone else, it seems to me that some effort should be made by them to make things more fair for U.S. depositing players. I am not sure what would be fair...perhaps a cashback policy on deposits similar to the one at Jackpot Factory Group Casinos, but only for U.S. players. I do know that it sure doesn't feel fair to me now.
